Angela Kinsley was born on 25 June 1971 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She moved along with her family to Jakarta, Indonesia when she was just two years old. She studied there at Jakarta International School. She has a good knowledge of the Indonesian language, which she learned during her stay in Indonesia. Her family returned to US after twelve years and settled in Archer City, Texas. She attended the Baylor University and studied English. She participated in ‘Baylor in London’ program. She graduated from the University in 1993, did internship with ‘Late Night With Conan O’Brien’, working for Max Weinberg. She has one child Isabel Ruby Lieberstein from her ex-husband Warren Lieberstein.
Her interest in acting took her to Los Angeles. She learned acting from improvisational classes held at The Groundlings and iO WEST. She got the role of “Angela Martin” in ‘The Office’ tv show in 2005. She actually auditioned for the role of “Palm Beesly” but the role went to Jenna Fischer because she was declared a little too feisty for this role. She has done small roles in some other TV shows before this. She appeared in the film ‘License to Wed’.
She won a Daytime Emmy Award-2007 for Outstanding Broadband Program-Comedy, for ‘The Office: Accountants’, which is a series of webisodes. She won the Screen Actors Guild Awards-2007 & 2008 for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for ‘The Office’. She was a nominee for the same Award under the same category for ‘The Office‘ again in 2009. She was also a winner of Future Classic Award of TV Land Awards -2008 for ‘The Office’.

Angela Kinsley is playing the role of “Angela Martin” in ‘The Office’ tv show. She is the head accountant in the Dunder Mifflin, Scranton. She is strict at the office and does not like the frivolous activities of the staff members. She puts an objection to the relationship of Palm Beesly and Jim Halpert. However, she herself kindled a relationship with Dwight Schrute; and tries to keep it a secret. Their relation had been going on in this way for two years. The secret affair ended after Dwight mercy killed her pet cat. She started dating Andy Bernard after this.
