Kate Flannery was born on 10 July 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. She studied at the Archbishop John Carroll High School for Girls in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Then she did her graduation from the University of Arts, in Philadelphia. Her family has a bar in downtown, Philadelphia by the name TA Flannery’s.
She was the member of the Second City’s National Touring Company. She is also an original member of Chicago’s Annoyance Theatre and has created more than 15 shows. She acted in ‘The Lampshades’ which has been running at the ‘iO WEST’ stage for over four years. This show was also seen at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
