Oscar Nunez was born on 18 November 1958 in Cuba. He grew up in Union City, New Jersey. He did his graduation from the Warner Brother’s Comedy Writers Workshop in 1997, and became a finalist of the Latino Writers Project in 1999. He appeared in Match Game in 1998 as a contestant but he lost the game. He founded The Shock of the Funny Theatre Company in New York City. He acted more than 300 shows for it. He connected himself with The Groundlings’ Sunday Company where he wrote and acted in ‘Smooth Down There’.
He made his appearance for a TV movie ‘Sun Gods’ and in a film ‘The Italian Job’. His career in the show biz is not limited to acting; he also was the creator and the executive producer of ‘Halfway Home’. He also appeared in this show as the character of “Eulogio Pla“. Some of the other shows in which he has appeared are - ‘Celebrity Family Feud’, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm‘, ‘24‘, ‘When Do We Eat’, ‘The Bad Girls Guide’, ‘MADtv‘, ‘The Jamie Kennedy Experiment‘ and ‘Meet The Marks’. He also won the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2007 and 2008, and was nominated in 2009, under the category- Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for ‘The Office’. In 2008, he won the Future Classic Award (TV Land Awards), and earned a nomination for the ‘Alma Award’ for ‘Outstanding Male Performance in a Comedy TV Series‘, for the show ‘The Office’.
