The engagement ring sparkles on Jenna Fischer’s annualry

People Magazine has confirmed that ‘The Office’ star Jenna Fischer has got engaged. Jenna, 35, and Lee Kirk, 37, a writer got engaged on June 30 while enjoying their vacations in Europe. The couple has been dating since January, 2008 but they kept mum about their relationship until September, 2008.

Their affair became public at the Emmy Awards in September, 2008 when Fisher said, “my super-cute boyfriend”. It might be the sweetest compliment Kirk have ever receivedJ. Well, it’s the first marriage of Kirk whereas Fischer has been previously married to director James Gunn. She broke up with him in July, 2007.    Hey Jenna… here are tons of congratulations and best wishes for you and Kirk… may you have long & steady relationship. On ‘The Office’, Jenna Fischer portrays the character of Pam Beesly, working as the receptionist at the Scranton branch of the fictional paper supply company Dunder Mifflin. As the time passes by, Pam gets promotion and becomes the saleswoman. The most important man of her life is Jim Halpert. No ‘confirmation’ about the sixth season of ‘The Office’

The announcement made by Angela Bromstad, president, Primetime Entertainment forced me to italicize the word confirmation in the title of the post. The words were like “We want the devoted fans of these series to know that we are thrilled that these quality programs will be back with the same high-caliber episodes that viewers have come to expect”. The show under consideration, other than ‘The Office‘, was ‘30 Rock’. The confirmation of the sixth season of The Office is meaningless, as long as nobody knows when it’d be premiered and how many episodes it’d have. It has been several months since the announcement of the season was made but not a single word from Network’s side has come after that. It has left the fans wondering about the future of the show.

Till May 14, 2009, fans of the series were not very apprehensive as The Office was on air with the fifth season and they were sure that before the season would end, some announcement regarding the next season would be made. But, as the episode entitled ‘Company Picnic’ marked the end of the fifth season, all fans of The Office’, were left high and dry as no body had any idea about the future of the show. Looking into the matter gives me just a single conclusion that the NBC Network is planning to drive the curiosity of the fans to its extreme. Details are being kept hidden and would be. A little review of The Office season 5 finale, ‘Company Picnic’ for those who couldn’t catch it. Here, we saw that Michael and Holly joined up as it was the annual Dunder Mifflin company picnic. Once again, Michael failed to express his feelings to Holly. The volleyball tournament happened to be a good one as the Scranton branch did well. Drugs in The office???

Just as The Office is about to hit the screen for the next season, Craig Robinson playing the role of Daryl was charged with possessing drugs including ecstasy when he was asked to pull over by a traffic cops in Los Angles. He was arrested on June 29. Robinson can avoid jail term if he pleads guilty to drug possession.

Law requires of him to stay clean and complete all therapy sessions before all charges are dropped.

It could not have come on a more inappropriate time when Robinson was riding high on the success of his biggest film role in Pineapple Expresss. He has won a lot of critical acclaim for his role as an atypical hit man in the movie. What’s more, his movie called Zack and Miri make a porno is scheduled to be released in October this year.

It’s quite true that it’s one thing to be successful and another to handle success. Seems that Robinson is drunk high on his recent achievements. What a pity! He is such a good actor and I am sure that his potential is yet untapped. It would be such a shame if we were to ever lose him to drugs and scandal.

Hats off to writers

Yes, writers deserve appreciation, especially when they are writers from The Office, kinda hit series. All the credit of show’s popularity goes first to Greg Daniels, the creator and writer of the show, then comes the turn of rest of the writers like Jennifer Celotta, Michael Schur and the team. If you love the characters of a series then you are bound to love their creators. I am a huge fan of ‘The Office’ and I am really impressed by the writers. They create such an intelligent humor for every episode. Can you guys answer to my questions? These writers often stay calm and quiet and hardly speak even in the parties and other ceremonies related to the show. They look like boring creatures to the world, then how their words and thoughts carry such strength that we can’t help but applaud their quotes. They seem boring and they come out with the unbelievable imagination and fantasy in the scenes. The most difficult thing is to create a character and then maintain that character in balance with others. Like, in ‘The Office’ many characters are my favorites and even with passing seasons, I have not lost interest in them. Like Meredith, she makes her presence felt every time because her character is so very well written.

Most intelligently written character is Ryan, who is a temporary character and it is found later on that he is cheating the company and I laughed when he gets arrested the whole staff shoots it on their mobile phones. The other interesting character is Andy Bernard, who has been keeping a ring in his wallet for the last six years because he thinks that he can meet his right girl at any moment. Finally he proposes Angela with the same ring. Angela and Dwight are also praise worthy people and you exactly know why, if not then watch the episode ‘Goodbye Toby‘. Here, Toby leaves for Costa Rica. You know I really enjoy fractions between Michael and Toby. It’s really a rocking show and someday it is going to kill somebody with such heavy dose of laughter.
